Friedrich started his career in 2011 at Rolls-Royce Power Systems after studying automotive engineering. He has a background in production management and found his way into project management and direct sales in 2012. Since then he has been managing several projects including international marine programs, nuclear power plant construction and the development of new products.

In 2018 Friedrich started participating in the transition program from being an engine manufacturer to a system supplier for renewable energy systems. For MTU's OnSite Energy Business he is leading the MicroGrid project. His strong belief in sustainable technologies and his experience in various applications are helping him to make the change to renewable energy systems a success.
