José de Arimatéia

José de Arimatéia is an Electrical Engineer graduated from Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT/Brazil) in 2014, in 2017 he obtained an MBA in Project Management based on PMBOK methodology from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/Brazil) and is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA/Brazil). At the Group of Studies and Development of Energy Alternatives (GEDAE/UFPA) he works on a DC machine supplied through a photovoltaic generator for processing açaí, a native fruit in Amazon Region, this solution has been applied and monitored in an isolated community in the Amazon as part of a National Geographic financed project for off-grid DC solar home system. His research interests are in energy efficiency, power systems and embedded systems, applied to the development of renewable energy systems for grid-connected and off-grid applications.
