As CEO and founder of Qantic, Thomas is on a mission to reduce costs and carbon emissions by applying artificial intelligence to the energy sector. Qantic offers solutions for microgrid design and optimal control of complex energy systems. Thomas is an expert in energy modeling and machine learning and has more than ten years of experience in the energy sector.

He started his career in the domain of energy market modeling and forecasting. Thomas also worked with an international management consulting company where he successfully accomplished projects across the whole value chain of the electricity sector. Thomas has a proven track record in solving challenging energy tasks with cutting edge modeling techniques. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin.
