Alexis Chalot is director of the business line "Storage, Microgrid and New Business" within EDF Renewables. The Microgrid team develops, finances and operates renewable energy projects in remote areas such as islands and deserts - replacing thermal generators with renewable energy to reduce CO2 emissions and generate savings. Alexis is also Board Member of ECOSUN Innovations, which offers a range of portable solar generators for rural electrification, and Board Member of KARM SOLAR, a multi-utility enterprise and service provider specialized in innovative and sustainable solar energy solutions in Egypt.

Prior to his current position, Alexis was investment director at EDF Pulse Venture. He was Board Member at EDF Store & Forecast, which develops a software solution for energy usage optimization. He has also served as Board Member at NEOT Offgrid Africa, a platform supporting and accelerating Africa's energy transition, and at ZINIUM, which develops a clean Zinc-Air rechargeable battery for stationary use. Alexis holds a Master in Finance from the EDHEC Business School.
