Jens Jæger

Jens Jæger leads the Policy and Business Development Department of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), the global decentralised renewable energy business association representing more than 185 Members. Jens works closely together with ARE members, as well as international and domestic partners to improve policy and business development conditions for private sector companies in emerging markets. His work is focused on business development, policy, advocacy and partnerships. Previously Jens worked in the UN, as well as in political communications in the Danish Parliament. He has an MSc in Political Science from University of Copenhagen.
