Torsten is Founder and CEO of Africa GreenTec, a German/African joint venture between social entrepreneurs, scientists, investors and experts which provides, implements, operates and finances German energy, water & recycling technology in Africa. The company's vision is a 100% independency of fossil fuels in Africa - an African energy revolution.

Torsten is also Co-Founder and CMO of Social Startups (www.social-startups.de), one of the leading magazines for German-speaking social enterprises, as well as CEO of RockmyStartup GmbH - an investment company for sustainable companies and impact investing. Specific focuses are projects in the field of social entrepreneurship, renewable energy and development policy in the global south.
